Was going through @Abhishek V Agrawal 's post on why he prefers Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund and I learnt that -

Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund/DSP Value fund give you exposure to International stocks with weightage not more than 35%

By doing this, the tax treatment of this fund is not of that of international fund❌
But, that of an equity oriented fund✔️
which is more favorable for the investors!

International MF become long term after 3 years whereas Equity oriented MF become long term after 1 year!

My reason to invest in PPFAS is simple. their exit load structure makes sure I stay invested for at least 2-3 years. in which time, any short term volatility based stupidity is avoided.
