A thread on few cos where profits have grown over the past 5 years but stock hasn't caught up.
$Mahanagar Gas Ltd Annual profits up from 300 cr range 5 years back to 700-800 cr currently. Cash flows also strong. Stock listed at 520 in July 2016. Regular dividend paying with 40% dividend payout. Witnessing pressure on margins currently due to gas price increase.
$Dhanuka Agritech Ltd Profits have grown from 100 cr range 5 years back to 200 cr recently. Cash flows also strong. Has done 2 buybacks in last 2 years. However stock at same level of 700 odd. Had dipped to 300 in 2019. Has announced capex plan for backward integration to reduce China dependency.
Annual profits have gone up from 150 cr 5 years back to 300 cr+ currently. However, stock hasn't done much. Trading at 15x p/e with good dividend payouts.
Annual profits have gone up 100 cr to nearly 300 cr. Debt has gone down progressively. Moderate dividend payout. Stock hasn't gone anywhere in past 5 years.
Profits have grown from 135 cr in FY16 to 406 cr in FY22. Last 5 years op cash flow of ~1500 cr. Has done some good acquisitions. But stock has remained near 2017 IPO price of 600.
Standalone profits have grown from 200 cr to 350 cr annually in the last 5 years. Plus Astec's profit has grown 6x since acquisition. Though there is debt on books, but it seems manageable. However, stock has done absolutely nothing since IPO in 2017.
